Post 74 is proud to be the Charlottesville-Albemarle County home of The American Legion, the world's largest veterans organization with over 2.7 million members. As wartime veterans, working through nearly 15,000 community level posts, we dedicate ourselves to God and Country and traditional American values; strong national security; adequate and compassionate care for veterans, their widows and orphans; community service; and the wholesome development of our nation's youth.
Post 74 meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7:30 PM in our beautiful facility, located in Shadwell. (Click here for directions.) Social hour begins at 6:00 PM and dinner starts at 6:30 PM.
