Altrusa International of Charlottesville, Virginia was founded in October of 1947. An active organization for almost 60 years, Altrusa is a service organization that has provided funds and support for many other community, national and international charitable organizations. Chartered on May 2, 1949 and incorporated on May 23, 1973, we continue to serve the good of Charlottesville and its surrounding counties.
