Virginia State employees can support the Emergency Food Bank (EFB) through the Combined Virginia Campaign (CVC). The EFB CVC code number is 3935.

Give Food
Donations of food included in orders can greatly reduce money spent for purchases. No homemade or home-canned items can be accepted. The following foods are always needed:

  • canned fruits and vegetables
  • cereal
  • canned fish
  • beans
  • soup
  • peanut butter
  • pasta and sauce
  • baby food

Volunteer
Volunteering requires a monthly commitment of approximately three hours. A volunteer may work in the office and take orders, make deliveries to distribution sites, distribute bags of food to clients,
or shelve food and bag orders at the pantry.
