4th: Coed Divorce Support Group - First Night!

6th: TRUNK SALE!- 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Great new location, huge selection of new clothing, including J. Jill, and household items. Please note that the Flea location has changed. It is still at the IX building, but instead of being at our offices, it is next to Blue Wheel Bicycles, which faces the parking lot of 2nd St., S.E.

13th: Anger Management for Women- First Night!
A 5-week skills-based training for women. Monday evenings from 6 - 7:30 pm. Begins Oct 13th and runs through Nov 10. Facilitators are Drs. Mary Nafpaktitis and Robin Eliason. $75.00 for 5 weeks. $20 non-refundable pre-registration fee. For more information, call Dr. Eliason at 434-293-2222, extension 27.

7th: Lawyer Assistance Night
Returns after a summer break. Women and men may call to register at 293-2222 ext. 27. First Tuesdays of each month. Space is available for Oct. 7, and Nov. 4.

Family Health Care Options
Free seminar for women and men, co-sponsored by FOCUS, the Family Resouce Clinic, UVA Law School, and the Legal Aid Justice Center. This seminar will discuss health care programs and options for women, men, and children including discussion of local options. Monday, Nov. 17 from 6 to 7:30 pm. Spring seminars about additional topics such as other public benefits, housing issues, employment issues, and immigration issues are under consideration. Community input on preferred topics is invited.
