Cherry Hill Development
Background:
117 homes to be built on 15 acres on Cherry Avenue. Koestler is the developer. Jim Tolbert, head of Neighborhood Development Services, informed the last FSNA meeting that the reason there is still only one access road into this huge, cul-de-sac development is because city council made a deal with Johnson Village that there be only one road. This places huge pressure on Cherry Avenue, Highland Avenue, Robertson and other local streets. City council should correct this mistake. Traffic planning for the intersection of Willard/Cleveland and Cherry is stymied by this problem as well. (Source: research by AK Wieder)
