| Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle (LV-C/A)
is an independent, non-profit organization that offers free, confidential,
individualized basic literacy and ESL instruction to adults.
The agency is governed by a board of directors and has two full-time employees. Volunteers work as tutors, help staff the office, conduct fund raising and public awareness activities, train tutors and help to assess student skills and progress. One of our fundraisers is Wordplay, Charlottesville's own live game show! More info at cvillewordplay.org. Next Tutor Training:Mondays May 12th and 19th from 5:30-7:30 pm.
