Inside NGIC
NGIC is located in a state-of-the-art building in northern Albemarle County. It is approximately 100 miles southwest of Washington D.C. and 85 miles west of Richmond, Virginia. This building is the largest project the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has currently on the East Coast. The new Albemarle County location offers scenic vistas of the Piedmont Region of Virginia.
