magazine: Amazing Alcos
Travel with us from New York to California to see hard-working Alco S-series switchers, classic RS1 and RS3 roadswitchers, handsome streamlined FPA cab units, and gutsy Century series road freighters, including big "six-motor" Centuries on Canadian National and Canadian Pacific. This colorful overview of rare and noteworthy disel locomotives manufactured by the American Locomotive Company includes insightful commentary by Alco expert and TRAINS magazine author Greg McDonnell, photographer J. Parker Lamb, and other Alco experts. It's all here in Amazing Alcos! Narrated by Classic Trains Associate Publisher Kevin P. Keefe.
