The Charlottesville Chapter of the Potomac Appalachian Trail, founded in 1986, hosts Saturday hikes in the Shenandoah National Park and George Washington National Forest, along Skyline Drive or in other areas near Charlottesville. We meet at 9 am Saturday morning, in the front of Albemarle High School, Hydraulic Road, Charlottesville. We devote one outing each month to working on trails: clipping brush, removing fallen trees, clearing waterbars, painting blazes, and so on. NOTICE: Please pay your annual dues: $5 for e-mail newsletter / $12 for paper copy. Send money to the club's P.O. Box or give it to John or Jere. Contact Information
