NATIONAL TRAILS DAY 2008 -
Saturday, June 7th, 8:30am to 2:00 pm, Rain or Shine
Get dirty, get wet, and meet dozens of wonderful folks who share your love of the Rivanna Trail with its incredible forests and streams. Imagine hiking all the way from Meadow Creek in Locust Grove up to the new Belvedere neighborhood. Views of the Rivanna River, open meadows, a gorgeous high canopy oak-beech forest, connections to new neighborhoods. We are really excited about this year’s NTD push upriver. Help in the big bold push to build new trails north and upriver of our existing trail network.

Starting time: 8:30 AM
Activities for all ages, all skill levels
Trail building, stream clean-up, special construction projects
