The Convenience Center (located before the scale house) allows for easy drop offs of recyclables, certain household hazardous waste and tagged bags or receptacles containing trash. The Convenience Center serves the needs of area citizens who bring their own trash and recyclables to the Material Utilization Center at Ivy.

Trash bags with RSWA trash stickers may be deposited in the RSWA waste container(s) located at the Convenience Center
(on the right hand road prior to the scale house). Each bag (up to 32 gallons in size) must have a RSWA sticker. Stickers may be purchased at the convenience center or scale house. They may be used for up to a 32-gallon trash bag. Effective July 1, 2006, the trash stickers sell for $1.25 each or $15.00 for a sheet of 12. All larger bags, trash cans and loose items must cross the scales,
as they are not accepted at the Convenience Center.
