The Encore Shop is a form of RSWA "recycling" leadership. It allows RSWA to find a "home" for those materials that in the past would have been traditionally discarded in the waste stream. Instead of disposing of usable materials, RSWA customers are encouraged to leave these items at the Encore Shop, where others can purchase them at fair prices.

The Encore Shop is located on the left hand side of the maintenance building.

In addition to direct contributions from Ivy customers, RSWA staff supports the reuse program by funneling reusable items spotted in the waste stream to the Encore Shop. RSWA staff look to salvage chairs, windows, kitchen sinks, commodes, office desks, doors, tables, dressers, pipe, trunks, and wood to name only a few items.

The recovered materials are stored in a special Encore Shop area. Customers visiting the Ivy site are invited to stop by and browse through the available items which change daily. Whether you are making needed home repairs, redecorating for spring, starting a remodeling project or are just a creative soul who can turn discarded pieces into treasures, please be sure to make regular visits to the RSWA Encore Shop. When you find an item you desire to purchase, simply ask the RSWA staff for the price and make payment at the scale house as you exit the site.
