Due to various circumstances, some activity dates have been changed.
Sunday September 7 - End of Summer Picnic (was scheduled Aug. 24)

Saturday September 13 - Giant Yard Sale (in the Parish Hall)
Contact Nancy Sprouse regarding items for the sale.

Tuesday September 16 - Parish Hall Clean Up Day (was scheduled Aug. 26)

Saturday September 20 - Habitat House work/St. John's provides lunch - 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Sunday October 5 - HOMECOMING - Please plan to visit with us!

Sunday School Begins!

The Fall semester begins very soon. If you are interested in assisting with any age group,
especially Nursery School age, please contact Tracy Strange.


Bishop Johnston visited on May 29, 2008

The Rt. Reverend Shannon Sherwood Johnston, Bishop CoAdjutor
visited St. John's for a Luncheon on Thursday, May 29.
Those who attended say it was a wonderful visit, and the Bishop very
friendly, warm, charming, and witty.

 

Episcopal Church Women

The Next Business Meeting will be Sunday August 31st after church.

The United Thank Offering (UTO)
Share your thankfulness!

The Fall Ingathering will be Sunday November 2nd this year.

Everyone is encouraged to be thankful for their blessings.
Encourage all family members to put coins in the box when they feel thankful.
Children are encouraged to participate.

Food Bank Ministry

The Charlottesville-Albemarle Food Bank needs items for the needy in our area.

Allen Miller is greatly appreciated for taking the donations to the Food Bank.
