Donate Used Cell Phones

You can help your local community’s efforts and the environment by your donating used cell phones. Recycling cell phones is a way keep toxic materials out of the enviroment. At the same time, your cell phone can raise funds for organizations to help needy causes.

If you have an unused cell phone that you would like to donate, just drop it in the yellow Lion's club box in front of the Scottsville IGA, the cell phone recycle box in the foyer at Bruce's Drug Store, the foyer of the Scottsville Post Office, the BB&T Bank, or the Scottsville Library.   We will see that it is properly recycled and if we receive compensation we will see that the money goes toward our projects of sight and hearing conservation.

The Rivanna Lions Club in cooperation with the Scottsville Lions Club has placed a new box to recycle cell phones at Mailbox Express, 265 Turkey Sag Trail, across from the Food Lion at Lake Monticello.
