Employment Training Program

 

TEENSIGHT provides employment assistance for both men and women in a wide geographical area. In both Region IX and Region X, TEENSIGHT works with men and women under 22 years of age.  Assistance is needs-based, and can be used to defray tuition, transportation, childcare and other costs.

Region IX - Culpeper, Orange, Faquier, Madison and Rappahannock counties

For Teens residing in these counties,  TEENSIGHT provides employment assistance free of charge to those that qualify. Employment assistance includes Pre-Employment and Work Maturity training, employment skills training, job development, and employment placement assistance. TEENSIGHT can provide financial assistance for tuition, child care, transportation, and other items on a needs-based basis.

Region X - City of Charlottesville;  Albemarle, Greene, Fluvanna, Louisa, and Nelson counties

TEENSIGHT can provide employment assistance for men and women under the age of 22 who reside in these counties  as long as they qualify under federal guidelines. Employment assistance includes Pre-Employment and Work Maturity training, employment skills training, job development, and employment placement assistance. TEENSIGHT can provide financial assistance for tuition, child care, transportation, and other items on a needs-based basis.
