Charlottesville USA DANCE Club

USA DANCE (formally United States Amateru Ballroom Dance Association - USABDA) is a non-profit organization formed to preserve and promote ballroom dancing not only as an art but as a healthy sport. The Charlottesville USA DANCE Chapter was formed in July 1994 and serves the City of Charlottesville, as well as the counties of Albemarle, Greene, Nelson, Fluvanna, Louisa, Orange, and Madison.

Membership in USA DANCE is open to ballroom dancers of all ages and levels. Different membership categories go from Social through Competitive. There are also memberships for Managers, Trainers, and Officials. Dues are payable annually and depend on the membership category (listed on the application form ). The application can either be mailed to

or the National Headquarters or brought with you to the next dance you attend. Admission to the next regular dance is part of the annual dues.

Membership entitles you to discounts on most of our monthly dances and a great network for meeting other dancers. You automatically receive a free subscription to the USA DANCE’s National bi-monthly publication, Amateur Dancers.
