| István Ruppert is an organ
professor at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary, where he
began teaching in 1987. Born in 1954, he first studied to be a mechanical
engineer and was a member of a professional soccer team. He has performed
extensively in Hungary and throughout Europe, Japan and the United States.
He gives masterclasses and lectures on Liszt’s organ music, and he is an
advocate of contemporary Hungarian organ music as well. |
