Welcome to Monticello Avenue, a community information network located in Charlottesville, Virginia. Monticello Avenue is dedicated to promoting civic use of the World Wide Web by:
- Assisting community organizations in establishing Web pages
- Educating community members about the resources available
- Organizing the growing amount of online community information
You can learn about our community's government services, school activities & educational opportunities, local businesses, cultural events, health & human service organizations, neighborhood associations and religious groups.
Monticello Avenue is jointly supported by the City of Charlottesville, the County of Albemarle, and the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library.
Non-profit organizations in Albemarle County or the City of Charlottesville are eligible for free space on the community network server, free email, and free training and tech support. Check out ourHosting Services or contact the Coordinator, for details on how your non-profit organization can establish a website on Monticello Avenue.
